Stillpoint Family Resources Counseling Center at The Village

Feb. 1, 2008 Rev. Dr. Jonathan Wilson announced the development of a new Counseling Center at The Village.  The Turner Foundation will collaborate with Stillpoint Family Resources (a non-profit organization) in providing affordable professional counseling services.

Stillpoint Family Resources Founder and Executive Director Dr. Ross Porter: "Stillpoint Family Resources is pleased to place one of its clinicians, Joe Sikorra, at The Village to offer healing and hope to individuals, couples, and families of The Village through counseling services.  For more information about Stillpoint and its mission, please go to www.stillpointfamilyresources.org ."

The primary counselor will be Joe Sikorra, M.S.. Joe graduated from U.C.L.A. with a B.A. in Theater Arts and a M.A. in Psychology from Antioch. He brings a wealth of experience in crisis counseling as a law enforcement officer and has a particular desire to work with teens, couples, and families of special needs children.

The Stillpoint Family Resources Counseling Center will initially be open one day per week and available only to Village residents and their families.  It is due to open in late February 2008.  Details regarding scheduling and fees will be announced in mid-February.
