Mrs. Patty Wilson, Director of the Village Community Center, announced the upcoming Grand Opening of the Village Health & Recreation Center (at the Village Community Center). The Center will include educational material on nutrition and wellness, exercise machines, and a pool table. The Center will also include a television. Mrs. Wilson: "We are excited to approach the completion of the Health & Recreation Center!  It is going to be a great place for Village residents to gather...as well as a place to learn more about nutrition and wellness." The Turner Foundation would like to thank the UCSB Recreation Center for donating exercise machines, and also John Mullen--who donated the pool table. Hours and other details will be announced in mid-February, 2008.
