Cooking Class/Summer Reading Club

This is our second year of SRC and we are looking forward to a full summer of adventurous reading and writing with the kids. This year we will focus more on creative writing.

We will start the second week of June. We meet once a week in the late afternoon. Specific dates and times TBD in the coming weeks. Please check back for more details.

Summer Reading Club Vision
A program dedicated to encouraging students ages six to eighteen to become stronger readers and writers during the summer through a weekly gathering, one on one tutor relationships, and exposure to the publication process through a literary journal."

Cooking Class is starting up again this summer and is run by Courtney Carlos, a Junior at Santa Barbara High School. Cooking class is every Tuesday afternoon. For more information also contact Katie Pryor.
