Ukerewe Development Below you will see the before and after pictures of the children that the Turner Foundation helped support. Ten corrective surgeries were per formed from December 12th-14th 2007. There were 7 corrective club foot surgeries, 2 cleft palate operations and 1 operation to re-connect joints that were displaced in a previous surgery. The success of these corrective surgeries was 90-98% depending on the individual child.
